David Riordan is an American game designer, producer and professional songwriter who has received an honourable Special Thanks mention in the credits of Realms of the Haunting.

After having started his career as a musician back in 1968, David entered the gaming industry in the 1980s with the design of Ballblazer, a futuristic soccer-like game, and It Came From the Desert, an action-adventure game largely inspired by the cult horror B-Movies of the 1950s and 1960s. Ever since, David has been involved in the production and design of several other games, including:

  • Lords of the Rising Sun (1992)
  • Thunder in Paradise Interactive (1995)
  • Drowned God: Conspiracy of the Ages (1996)
  • Star Trek: Starfleet Academy (1997)
